On one side, master builders like Bryan Galloup and Giuliano Nicoletti of Iulius Guitars (a former Hi-Fi loudspeaker engineer) view the guitar as a "coupled resonant system". If you crack open a $50,000 audiophile speaker, you will not find thin, flexible cabinet walls designed to vibrate. You will find massive, thick, heavily braced enclosures made of high-density materials. Why?
